Question: "Leaked" images

Iv’e noticed the more believable images have been taken on a monitor or TV, and always have a blue light on the bottom. They all have the right…“stuff”. Are they real? Or just coincidence or something? Sorry I can’t link any because not allowed.

I dont think talking about it is allowed ether…

Leaked content, whether legitimate or fake, is not allowed. Talking about it is also pointless, considering that the subject matter (leaked pic/ vid) isn’t allowed.

Did he post anything? No? Oh, well then get the sticks out of your -Yoinks!-.

On topic, pretty much every “leaked” pic, is fake.
343i’s got Halo 4 locked down pretty nicely.

What I don’t understand is why people have talk about “leaked content.” I mean, your completely right on the fact that most stuff is fake anyways. I would not believe in anything that is not clearly published by Microsoft of 343.

The reason people post fake images taken off a tv/monitor is because it lends some “credibility” to it. It does so in two ways. 1) It makes it seem as though it was taken quickly, by someone who managed to see the game. Rather than taking a screenshot, they were only able to take it off a tv. 2) Taking it off a screen causes less clear detail. This helps hide some of the flaws that would make it easier to identify it as a fake.

the last “leaked” pic that i saw was pretty decent except for a Halo Wars Elite that made me say “yep, this is phake”

Obviously he’s curious, not posting leaked content or breaking the rules in any way, so just answer his question and give him a break.

I only believe if 343 says something.

they are fake dude. I know which you are talking about, and yeah, they are fake.

Anybody remember the reach leaked pics? Those were real even though people denied it.

Yeah but these recent ones were clear fakes. One was a painting of mountains with a unbarrel 'shopped onto a DMR and the other was Crysis, with the SCAR 'shopped to look like a DMR and a Halo Wars Elite
