I was planning on changing my listed favorite weapon by sitting in a forge game one-shotting a guest over and over, since there’s no way I could possibly play long enough legitimately (even with Spartan Ops or the Campaign) to change it away from the DMR, which is pretty much the only thing I used pre-tune. Now I normally don’t even touch it; I use the Carbine (and sometimes LightRifle) nearly exclusively because in its current state it’s simply amazing.
If there’s a quick way to do this without egregiously stat-boosting my War Games Custom service record, that’d be nice to know too. (Does doing it in Forge mode prevent that? And do kills in Forge mode count towards the favorite weapon stat?)
