Hey, I’m trying to decide if I should buy Halo 4 or just go get some other games. I’m hearing a lot of positive stuff and negative stuff about Halo 4,
Can someone give me all the intel on what people are complaining about and what people are enjoying so I can decide if this is a worthy buy since it just came out?
I’ve heard a lot of people are having trouble unlocking and receiving stuff such as the LE content, pre-order bonuses, and Legendary armor… that is something that makes me worry.
I bought the game last night. I had a good time playing it, long time halo fan and this seemed to feel like halo.

For negatives: this board should have plenty of threads. Check them out for arguments on both sides and see whether you would have the same issue or not;

If you are mainly wondering about MP, Watch live streaming on twitch.tv. You’ll have a pretty good idea of whether you’ll like this game after 1-2 hours of watching.
Many people are just whiny over all the change.
In reality, Halo 4 is well made game.
Best halo since halo 2. Halo 3 overrated, reach poor last halo from bungee.

I’d really advice against doing this. Wholly due to the fact that opinions here and over on Metacritic, can be illogical, devoid of any reason, completely biased, or just intended to troll. Most of them aren’t reliable for you to base your own opinions off of.
Personally I think it’s good. Campaign, altough short, was excellent and I havn’t had as much fun in Multiplayer since Halo 3.
Obviously it has flaws, but in my opinion I think it’s one of the best Halo’s yet. Definately worth buying.

Sure. Obviously OP needs to use his critical thinking ability when reading these.
The good thing about this board: although most threads start from the negative angle, there are plenty of rebuttal arguments made in the reply. OP can see both sides and get a balanced view of whether the issue in discussion is going to bother him or not.
The good thing about metacritic is that it has extreme views on both end of the spectrum. So OP can see the overwhelmingly positive as well as negative aspects of the game.
Watch live stream is most unbiased way to see for himself whether this game floats his boat or not.
