I preordered today at gamestop in full. Can I go in next week 20th and change it to digital and they print me a code that day?
I honestly don’t think so. You can get your money back and use it on an Xbox card, put it in your account. After that go purchase the digital copy on the Xbox store.

Just withdraw the money from the preorder and ask if you can get the digital version.

I thought the digital version was only available throught XBLM ?

Even if it t is, you could still withdraw the money from physical copy and just buy the Xbox marketplace cards they sell, redeem on Xbox live then buy the digital version

I remember I wanted the pre-order bonus at gamestop for Batman… I pre-ordered the game, and asked him if I could get a digital copy. He said he’d cancel the pre order on launch day, and give me XBL credits to buy the game on the dashboard, and printed the pre-order bonuses on the receipt.
Couldn’t pre-load the game early, I used the credits I got from gamestop on launch day to buy batman.
Wasn’t a big deal not playing on Day 1 for Batman… But idk if you want to play Halo 5 on day 1.
(you could always pre-order the game on the dashboard now, and keep the credits for something else I guess, to play on day 1)
