I just reached 130 this morning. I had to leave right after though so i couldn’t continue playing. my question is, after reaching the max PROGRESS rank, did the game lose some of its appeal? Like i said, i haven’t played after getting my 130 so i really don’t know what the game is going to feel like (to me) anymore. Its something ill have to find out later. I hope im wrong but i kinda think i’m not going to enjoy it as much, but don’t get me wrong i still think ill enjoy a lot and i will still play it.
anyone think that this wouldn’t happen to them but after reaching it you did not have the same experience?
I really wish an in game 1-50 rank system would get added
as far as i know it is getting added
and to awnser your question, it has lost its spark, maxing it so quick, but i still play for commendations…feels like i waited so long for halo 4, to just stop after such a short ammount of time

dang…
yeah i wanted to reach 130 so bad and i was thinking after i get there i can now play the game how i want and have fun. no more spartan ops sounded pretty darn good and i was going to play war games all the time and get better and more competitive.
then i hit 130 and now im just thinking like… damn, maybe this wasnt what i thought it would be like.

no its not, its being added to halowaypoint.com
nothing in game
it only tracks k/d, and medals and stats like that not wins, the only difference from BPR in reach is that CSR is 1-50
the BRP wasnt accurate at all, it gave an individual a 100 way too easy, personally I think a 100 should be damn near impossible to get
its sad to think that 343 thought the CSR would be efficient enough to suffice the competitive community

i deffinetly said in my other post that i thought it would lose its appeal but did you even read my post? i never said i would stop playing i said “don’t get me wrong i still think ill enjoy a lot and i will still play it”.Im a competitive player and fun to me is getting really good and winning. I know a lot people dont get why working hard to be the best and winning every game is fun. this is what gives me My replay value in a halo game. without ranks takes most of that away for me.
I still enjoy playing the game. I am 130, and now I am just doing Commendations.
I think getting to the rank is much more satisfying then actually ever being there.
I don’t know, I just feel empty whenever I hit top rank in games.
But commendations are there and I’m sure that will help to ease my emptiness.
