Does your XBC username and your profile name on Halo 2 have to be exactly the same for it to work?
I ask this b/c I have tried almost everything to set up xbc and play.
The only thing I haven’t done is port forwarding and making those two names the same. And trust me, I’ve set it up correctly. I’m also starting to think it doesn’t work with my router, or that I may need an original Xbox system link cable.
I don’t think it does. But if you’re having too much trouble, XLink Kai is a good alternative.

True that but if you still have trouble, maybe PM JDHarb, he made the XBC sticky.
