question about waypoint fileshare & xbox slim

i have the xbox 360 slim with 4gb memory unit that doesnt read as hard drive and i know its not supposed to and i know i cant use theater but can i still transfer files from pc to my console? i got a usb stick so i have plenty of space

I don’t think it’s possible, sorry.

just to clear things up you are not allowed transfer any game/xbox files from the console to pc / pc to console via a USB stick to begin with. You can transfer music & images from a PC to change your dashboard background, but since you’re talking about the fileshare im assuming you mean reach screenshots, maps, etc.

I think the following should work w/ a 4gb and USB stick as memory:

*To download Halo Reach maps/films that you may have found on here in the File Share using your PC to your xbox you click the “send to xbox” button under the file photo while logged in w/ your GT

*You are unable to do this for screenshots so you’ll have to use the in-game filebrowser to search for the Author’s gamertag fileshare to find it

Hope this helps a bit!

I don’t know if i’m just an idiot, but i recently obtained an xbox slim and I want to attempt to download some custom games that i found on youtube. As previously stated, when i attempt to do this, it says it doesn’t recognize the harddrive, when i thought the newer xboxes were internal harddrive(i think) There has to be a way where i can download these maps on this new xbox?
