I have expressed my distaste of sword block in the past, and am pleased to see it removed in some TU gametypes. But after downloading every TU gametype that I know of, I’ve discovered that they are spartan-specific gametypes, and I’m a Sangheili fan.
Is there any gametype that is non-specific, or (unlikely as this option is) is there a way I can make a gametype not spartan-specific? I’d like to be able to play an Elite without the stain of Sword Block in the game.

Aye my brother, let the glory of Sanghellios be known! You can just start a custom game with Elites as long as your preferred species is Elite.

The only thing that should block a sword is of course another sword. 
Well whenever I try and play a custom game with a playlist without swordblock, it’s always a spartan-specific gametype and i’m forced to be a spartan. My question is if there is a gametype I can download that has no sword block but still allows me to play as an elite.

No their isn’t. TU gametypes are Spartans only.

Oh well, there goes the only reason I would have enjoyed any of the TU gametypes. I’ll just have to stick with the frustration of a spartan punching a five foot long blade of white-hot plasma and blocking it with his fist.
