Question about trigger locks

With the elite controllers what do you guys have the trigger locks on? Don’t know the best option.

I think mine is like 5/30. On the elite you mean? I just repeatedly pulled the trigger till it looked smooth

I’m curious to hear people’s settings also. Rename your thread trigger locks, it’s the proper term.

i change mine from time to time

SWAT is always locked but when you play other games and might use a plasma pistol then it won’t charge with the lock engaged

I’m not sure how other controllers work, but with my elite it’s pretty easy to flip the switch mid-game to turn on/off the trigger locks. I like to have them on most of the time, especially for precision weapons; i’ll turn them off sometimes grabbing automatics or something that can be charged.

I find it a bigger deal in BO3 when trigger squeeze is actually important in keeping the rifle still, so for automatics in that I will take the trigger lock off. But for halo I think they are a huge advantage having on.

You need to change the trigger sensitivity for the plasma pistol to work. Make it so a half squeeze will convert to a full squeeze

What in the eff are you talking about? Trigger lock? What does this function provide exactly?

That’s what I did. Reduced bottom trigger to 50 percent, so that when the lock is on, the trigger is at max when depressed to the lock point.

im keen if that’s the correct way to do it. I know I can in fact use charge up weapons with it.

not sure if I love the trigger locks. I feel like sometimes I’m too fast on the triggers that I “skip” a shot.

if you have the elite controller you can change when the trigger is maximum pressed in the xbox aceciories (spelling??) app so you can have it fully pressed when you press the half way the same as the locking does

I have the fusion controller and no I don’t not use trigger locks at all because you can’t charge weapons like the incineration cannon or plasma pistol

I have them on and switched the deadzones on the trigger pull to 50% to eliminate the problem charging weapons.
