I can’t do time links on mobile, but to 17:34 of this Raid on Apex gameplay. These ghosts start shooting at each other, I don’t think it’s a glitch, but I can’t tell if those are damage effects or special round. Does someone have a Ghost variant, what are all the purple explosions, they look cool.
If you go further into the video, there are two ghosts going at it again from distance, there are no purple damage effects.
Looks like it might be an effect that occurs when the plasma rounds collide in the air.

Ah that’s pretty awesome if they do that now. I don’t think that ever happened in previous games. I think they Wraith was the only vehicle that did that, with two plasma mortars clashing, or maybe not. Nevertheless, this makes ghost battles longer and more intense, therefore more fun imo.
I cant seem to find the other ghost fight you mentioned to see what’s different.

I think that might be a variant. Possibly the “Sword Ghost”? I say that because I saw a similar effect in one of RUL’s warzone videos and in it he was taking fire from the back. I’ll try to find the video and time.

Sword ghost is red
The other ghost is gray, i think that’s a vehicle variant with concussion rounds.

I only see two variants in the REQ menu Sword Ghost and what looks like a standard Covie Ghost but maybe they have modified it with concussion rounds as you say.

Those are the variants the player had unlocked, remember every player could buy REQ packs, so every one has different stuff.

Mini Concussion round, pretty cool, my be useful for stopping things in their tracks.
