Question about the TV.

So I’m not sure if this is my Xbox, TV, or something else and if it applies to all Xbox games I have or just Halo Reach and Halo 4 (the only two games I play since this new TV).

I had a Panasonic Plasma. After a year and half it took a dump on me. Now I have a Vizio LED 47inch. Features are 1080p, 120hz refresh rate, 2,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio, Smart TV, blah blah.

Ever since I switched to this TV, I have noticed things in the distance looking blurry/pixelated, idk what it’s called. In this photo, you can see it where my Plasma Pistol is pointed and above and below it. It is so annoying. Pic.

I have switched from a basic HDMI cable to a Rocketfish cable that is shielded from interference and all the works. This is the HDMI cable I have now.

What is the deal here? I never recalled seeing any of this on my Plasma TV.

On top of this, I noticed while watching Family Guy last night that when they would talk, every now and then their mouths would show black/white lines for a split second. Is this the TV you think?

Thanks in advance, didn’t know where else to post this.

Also, long live 117.

It looks like there is a strong film grain effect when you play halo 4. If you have played the mass effect games and especially the first one there was the presence of a strong film grain effect.

As you mentioned that it happens when your watching TV I would bet That it is a screen issue with your TV.

Look through your TV’s manual and see if there is a film grain effect that can be adjusted.

one question, Does this happen in any of your other games?

Yes it happened with Halo Reach too. Buddy of mine told me that it’s the HDMI port on my xbox itself. We hooked up hIS PS4 and had zero problems. The xbox is getting old I suppose. Sound about right?
