While Playing Halo Inifinite Multiplayer, It has come to my attention that for some reason the sidekick pistol feels like an automatic weapon.
Hear me out.
Lately I’ve encountered games where I get destroyed by the enemy while they are using the sidekick pistol.
What bothers me is how fast it shoots and I might not be a top player or even close to an average player but I’ve tried to shoot it the same way and I can’t.
Are people using macros for this weapon and is that even allowed?
Maybe there is a secret technique that I’m not aware of.
The thing is, it feels unfair every time I get hit with it.
It goes “pop, pop, pop, pop, pop” dead.
When I try it it goes “Pop, …pop…pop…pop” dead anyways.
Kinda frustrating to the point where If I see an enemy holding the Sidekick I just go the other way and avoid them.
I play using Keyboard and Mouse.

Are people using macros for the sidekick pistol and is that allowed?
Any feedback on how to use the weapon more efficient will be appreciated.
