I recently returned to Halo: Reach after hearing about the Zero Bloom playlists and how MLG has Zero Bloom and no Armor Abilities. I quit Halo after playing since Halo 2 because of these two unbearable additions.
I digress. I don’t have any of the map packs, and honestly I have no interest in the Noble and Defiant map packs. If I buy just the Anniversary map pack, will those maps come up for me to vote on in multiplayer in the Zero Bloom playlist?
In theory yes.
In practice once every 100 games. And it will be downvoted for sanc or something every time.
If youre willing to throw of the shackles of MLG dogma and try different playlists, your chances improve.

I’ve had all the DLCs since day one and outside of DLC playlists they rarely come up.
1 out of 100 is generous, more like 1 out of 200 in my experience.
Unless you want to play playlists where DLC is required don’t waste your money on the maps packs.

No, waste your money on the map packs, the more people with them, the more useful the changed algorithm will be, the only reason you rarely match up with other DLC owners is because hardly any people actually own the DLC to make it a common thing, Squad DLCs population shows this.
Well considering anniversary has it’s own playlist group, yes, buy it
