Question about the kill cams....?

Okay so I thought that the kill cams were only for specific gametypes but now I keep seeing them more and more on the Halo 4 gameplay videos. Could someone fill me in on this info because personally I am not a huge fan of the kill cam. I mean 343 is doing an amazing job and stuff but the kill cam just makes my eye twitch a little bit.

Then dont watch the kill cam, skip it via pressing X to respawn.

I’ve heard there’s a way to go back to the regular death screen, but you have to press a button every time. I’m not entirely sure if that’s true, though.

according to 343, it won’t be in every gametype(tahnk god), but this was only on 1 or 2 occasions from last week. I expect that we will be told all about them today in the bulletin.

They were probably universally present in the eurogamer build to show them off, just as the dynamic weapon spawning of infinity slayer was present in every gametype in the E3 build.

I can see the reason for them in certain gametypes(dominion and flood would be good) but they don’t really add anything to gameplay, so I see no reason to add them to already fine gametypes like slayer and CTF.

eh, i for one enjoy the idea of a final kill cam, even if im on the recieving end

They aren’t in every gametype and the only ones I know that have them are Infinity Slayer, Dominion, and Flood.

It’s not a big step up from the screen following the person who killed you.

I think you just have to press Up/Down on the D-Pad , and of course you can simply skip it by pressing X or by doing something else (changing loadouts for example).

Actually, I’d like it if killcams were only for betrayals, to know if it was either accidental or intentional.

Yes, there are game winning kill cams.

Not a fan of kill cams in general but the final kill thing is kind of cool.
