My questions is, what do you have to do to get in the game industry? Currently my cousin is doing a 4 year university course on games technology and he gloats to me that after he is done he will be accepted by a an developer and start to make games.
Is this true?
If not can you please go on in detail about the steps you need to take…
Check out various developers, they sometimes look for designers on their web sites, Bungie was one I saw them looking for designers and testers, so try that,
Also, contact your local colleges and universities, see if they have courses in games related studies, and if so, what are the entry requirements.

Your cousin has delusions of grandeur I’d say. If getting hired by a developer was that easy, there would be a lot of success stories about how easy jobs in the industry are. He’ll be lucky to get internships with the remote possibility of being selected to hang around as an employee. And that is if he is a quality asset.
