Question about the commendations (Achilles Armor)

The unlock conditions for the Achilles armor were a bit ambiguous to me.

  1. When the requirement is all “kill commendations”, do they mean the weapon and vehicle kills or is it any commendation that involves you killing anything (I.E. enemy A.I. and objective-based games)?

  2. Let’s say you’ve completed your commendations but never joined a company. As soon as you join a company, do you unlock the armor or does everyone else have to complete their challenges, too?

  3. Can’t you just create your own one-man spartan company and get the armor yourself?

I believe it is only the progress you make while in a spartan company and not just your individual commendations, but I could be wrong.

This is correct. You need to be in a Spartan Company to unlock it. Then you have a set of commendations to complete as a company.

  1. There is a ‘‘kill’’ category in the company commendation. This is what you need to complete in order to unlock Achilles set. Fully complete level 3 to unlock the armor and complete level 5 to unlock the helmet.

  2. Your commendations and company commendations are not the same. Two different things so even though you have done your own commendation. It doesn’t apply to the company commendation. If you join a company after they have unlocked the armor you won’t get it. You need to be in the company at the moment they actually unlockit.

  3. You could create your own company but getting over 200 000 kill alone would be a grind to do for years.

JLC4LIFE is absolutely correct. I’ll add that you do not “bring” commendations with you when you join a company. That is to say, anything you accomplish as an individual (or as part of a previous company) will not “follow you” to a new company - your contributions start fresh when you join.

Also to point 3 above - you need a minimum of 4 players to have an “active” company. That said, the point is still valid, it’d take a long time for 4 people to earn this.

A company has to have at least four people to be active I believe.

  1. you need to be a part of a spartan company

  2. commendations are on the spartan company page (separate from your personal commendations)

  3. if you join a company that already has the armor you wont get it, you need to be a part of one BEFORE they earn it

  4. dont try to do it on your own in a company, it takes hundreds of thousands (100,000s) of kills to complete even the first 3 levels

  5. go to the news and help sections for accurate info

Question to unlock the Achilles armor body? What does it mean first 3 comodation is that all those 36 comodation because i see more then 3 they a lot ? Is that what it means all those different nomber over 30?

Its all SC kill commendations up to and including level 3.

you need complete the section “kills” commendations on your company to get it

We already unlocked the armor, but if someone in your company get the helmet, does everyone else get it?

It’s not an individual achievement. If someone in your SC gets the helmet you all get it.

If your company unlocks the armor, I’m assuming that you still keep it if you transfer to another company. If not can someone clarify?

Once you have it, you have it. Doesn’t matter if you change companies or leave and be in no company. You get it in a pack and it opens just like any other armor in a normal pack does. It’s then in your collection.
