Question about the btb update.

I am the type of player who enjoys playing big team battle maps by dmr’ng people far from the action near the spawn or way out to the side of the map. This is called “camping”. I know a lot of people don’t like it, but I only have fun playing halo when i barely die in games.

Here is the question though, with this new update (that i won’t get to play until sunday thanks to college). Will i be more likely to die more with my invis camping tactic? Or will i get more kills and die the same amount/less.

I usually go 20ish kills and 5-6 deaths on average/mediocre big team games. I hope it doesn’t get worse.

so what do you think???

You would have to play to know if you would be better or worse.

If you use the Camo nerf, it wont make much of a difference if you are sitting still, you should still be able to use your old tactic.

Camo got nerfed? how?

anyway what i am asking is (as a camper) will i be dying LESS thanks to the update? or will i be dying MORE?

like are noobs able to get spam dmr kills now or something?

the time in active camo has been deceased due to TU

Well ill say this, the DMR is more on-par with other weapons now. Your not out of the game just because you dont have a powerweapon.

Ahhh so you are saying it will be less likely for me to get more perfection medals? because 343 has made it easier for noobs/anyone to get kills with the dmr?

hmmmm… i’m going to miss winning all of my dmr battles

1: you will win more if your actualy good with the DMR (will explain if asked)
2: why do you assume its easier for noobs? If anything it rewards better players because it gives good players a decent defense against power weapon-noobs and camo-hoarders.

I would love it if you went into greater detail about the update to the DMR. Is it still 4 body 1 head for the kill? did they change anything about how the bullets damage on the DMR or bleedthrough?

As you know my main fear is that i start dying more while trying to get perfection medals because noobs/other skilled players can pick me off from a longass distance away while i camp, you know not giving me any time to run to cover and avoid death because the bloom went down they can land every shot with ease.

but what you seem to be telling me is that this update is pretty much just good for me, the dude who sits up in that side mountain thing next to his base and plays defense the whole time and literally ONLY uses the DMR/sniper.
