Completed my 5 games, it placed me at a Gold 5, which is what i’ve typically started at the last few resets.
I feel like i played fairly well; only lost 1 game (it was a 3v4) and went even or positive in the other 4 wins (had a 30 kill Strongholds game)
So my question is what is it basing the initial rank off of? Does my MMR have anything to do with this? (I know it did for teaming me up with others in those 5 games)
I wasnt expecting to start Diamond 1 but i typically played around Plat 2-3 rank last season once I broke out of Gold status.
Anyone have any info on this placement process?
(They need to reset MMR as well on this seasonal resets)
