Question about Stats

Something that’s been bothering me for a while now is the disparity I’m about to describe:

With regards to Arena - Waypoint says I have 8614 Kills, which is nice for an old man part timer like me, however, Halo Tracker says I have 8711 Kills, however it also says I have 8614 Spartan Kills.

So, my question is - what the heck is the 97 Kills difference? It’s not NPC kills (Soldiers, Marines, Promos) from Warzone as I’ve counted the numbers and they don’t add up. Oddly enough I think the in game stats align with the 8711 number as well…Was there perhaps a pre season thing at launch which Waypoint doesn’t count? Is it a bug on Waypoint? Is it perhaps a count from games that ended via disconnect? Why do I care? (It bugs me).

Does anyone else have a similar difference in their stats?

on halo tracker it says i have a single day (january 3rd) were i died 513 times with 0 games played during a long break from xbox. pretty impressive to be able to die 500 times with 0 seconds of play time if you ask me. also it counted my 200 deaths in the warzone firefight beta to my matchmaking k/d. makes my k/d much lower on halo tracker than here on waypoint. my warzone k/d here is 3.3 which is correct, and my halotrackers at 2.5 which is obviously way off. but whatever k/d is meaningless

For you perhaps  I like my epeen to be as big as possible.

Didn’t play the H5 beta, didn’t play the Firefight beta so it’s not those…If it was just Waypoint and HTracker at odds I’d blame HTracker but the in game Career stats for Arena also don’t tally with Waypoint…

Just bugs me.
