What rank do I have to reach in order to get REQ cards and certification for the Halo 2 Battle Rifle?
Pretty sure that’s pure RNG, but it favors more common things (surprise, surprise) and the H2 BR is a Legendary, so you might not see it for a while regardless. I’ve heard some people unlock it relatively early and others not until a ways into 100+. It’s just… Random, to the best of my knowledge.

It’s best not to play the RNG game by opening nothing but golds hoping to get it… Just open silvers till they refund two 1500 point req cards instead of unlocks then move on to golds. That is the fastest and cheapest way to unlock everything…the best way to get the stuff you want rather than opening and hoping.

And, in your experience, how long does that take?
If you get it when most people got it, you’ve got a ways to go friend. I got mine in 80s/90s and I followed the silvers then golds method religiously from when I started playing H5. I had everything unlocked by 110 or so.

Most seem to finish the pack grind by around SR144-146ish. Depends on how lucky you get with those rp boost that help you earn more points.

I’m only at SR66 right now.
It’s gonna be a long road. At least I’ve got my Mark V Delta helmet… through purchasing the Classic Helmet Pack, but still…
Oh well.
Just for the sake of things, I calculated how much RP is needed to unlock everything with the Silver-Gold method. It’s not 100% accurate, but it’ll certainly give you an idea.
For *Common, Uncommon, and Rare items, you’ll need to buy 395 Silver Packs costing 1,975,000 RP
For Ultra Rare and Legendary items, you’ll need to buy 277 Gold Packs costing 2,770,000 RP
Total RP needed: 4,745,000
As for how long the grind will be, we’re looking at a roughly 8-month long grind to get everything obtainable assuming you play everyday and follow the Silver-Gold method, though items like Achilles and Timmy have to be obtained through special means.
*Some items like Mongoose certifications are only available in Bronze Packs (which don’t guarantee an unlock every time) so leave them for last.
