then they said you can pre load the game. can anyone comment if that means people like me can pick it up on the 20th from gamestop where i pre ordered it.
or do i have to wait even if i do not want to wait.
If you buy any of the digital version of the game or pick up the Limited Collections edition, you’ll be able to pre-download from around the 20th I think. Any disc based version of the game you buy though, you’ll have to wait until the 27th to install and play. Worth noting that pre-downloading won’t let you play the game any sooner, everyone will start playing on the 27th (unless your copy gets shipped early, which has happened in the past)

Ok you confused me. so even if i preorder from gamestop and i think i did the disk. its going to be a disk and a download copy right. or download only. If download only can i pick it up early or not. You very much confused me.

You pick it up on the 27th, which means no pre-download.
Digital copy = pre-download before 27th, play at midnight of launch
Disc copy = not available until 27th

The download code will be for you to download your game, it’s not an extra code as the LCE doesn’t come with a physical disc (there are plans to allow swapping, but they haven’t been detailed out yet).
then why dose that gamestop listing sell the idea we are getting 2 copys of the game.
If you go digital and you enable sharing with another xbox, both sound can play the game and only have to pay for one copy. So if you have a friend or family member you play with often, you can set each others console as your home xbox and share all the content. Split the cost

its ok i like to see that my idea was applied to all the pre order base. of giving it to us early to get downloads done. I know i did not do it but let me have that it just takes one person in the gaming world that works at ms to see my post so i will think it was me and let me have it please.
