So everyone has the high-tier power weapons on their HUD when a game of Infinity Slayer starts? Am I reading that right? That’s pretty dumb if I am.
What? Its no different than everyone knowing where the power weapon is at the start of a match.
> What? Its no different than everyone knowing where the power weapon is at the start of a match.
Except everyone didn’t know that.

facepalm

Mhmm.
Now at the start of a match, they do. It doesn’t mean everyone will go for it. It doesn’t garentee you’ll get it.
Now you have to fight for it, instead of getting lucky and being the only person to know where it is.
And its not a big deal anyway. Throughout the game, while getting different medals, you can bring in your own Ordinance.
Sure. Everyone will know where it is… but only the good ones know the quickest ways to get to it, and be able to defend against everyone else going for it.

Ah yes, so you’re telling me that everyone who played the previous titles knew the powerweapon placements on every map that were in Halo between CE and H3?
People will know where the weapons are at the start, but you will have to fight for them.

The better question would be, what skill does it take to memorize a power weapon spawn?
> People will know where the weapons are at the start, but you will have to fight for them.
Absolutely nothing has changed in that regard.

It’s not luck. It’s being educated about and knowing a map vs haplessly roaming around maps and never learning them.

Timing weapons is a skill, while keeping focus on the rest of the game.

Timing weapons has always been an artificial tactic to gain advantage in Multiplayer (same goes for spawn trapping), however useful it is.
Infinity Slayer is a step in the right direction.

It’s all apart of total game awareness. Removing it is simply a way to better include mentally incompetent players.

Artificial?!?!? lol
I just feel like they are adding so much unnecessary BS to this game that is just cluttering it up. For instance, the HUD is already crowded enough and they are just adding more things to it. Second, Jeff is now announcing LITERALLY everything. Is all of this needed?
> Jeff is now announcing LITERALLY everything.
I noticed that can you imagine if he also called out Headshot a game of Swat would be impossible.
Now regarding the Hud with the weapon display if I’m remembering this right the power weapons spawn randomly around the map through out the game, so it might mean in the next game on the same map the Sword might not be in the same place.
It’s actually really good. Now, everyone will be heading for the Power Weapons, not just the guys who memorized it.
To my knowledge 343 are introducing a dynamic weapon spawning system. Indicators are a necessity.
I’m would guess however they won’t be in Classic Slayer.
Actually, it’s true. A lot of players DON’T know where the power weapons spawn.
Of course this is a small minority but nonetheless if they did get those power
weapons…
Anyway, it doesn’t really matter.
