Hey everyone, I just got halo 5 the other day and it has been pretty fun. Just hit Onyx in slayer and I won’t be able to play for like a week. I heard your rank can decay if you don’t play while in Champion but I was wondering if that can happen if you are only 1500 in Onyx. Will I get knocked down to Diamond?

No, only champions can decay so to speak because only the top 200 get champion so you can get over stepped if you don’t keep playing. The only way you derank oynx and below is by losing matches or when 343 does reset the ranks then you have to play your placement matches and grind back up, your previous rank is a factor where you end up after your placement matches.
