You know, it occurred to me that I don’t ever see anyone with the same avatar as the one I’m currently using. Whereas most Avatars you see repeated around becuase they are available to everyone. Why don’t I ever see anyone else with mine?
Probably a multitude of reasons. To name a couple:
Firstly, you need 750 posts to become a Marine - Onyx rank here. I’m guessing that you don’t unlock that image until at least Marine - Silver. I’m Bronze now and I haven’t unlocked it. There’s probably a lot of people here who are below that rank and thus don’t have it unlocked yet.
Another reason could be that some people may not like that picture so much, or simply just can’t be bothered to change it from one they’ve been using since forever.
Or they’d rather have their own Spartan image of the Spartan/Emblem which they use in game to make it even more unique.
From the looks of it you had this avatar before the website was updated, and since then your avatar has since been removed. But you still have it. Same thing happened with me. The Jorge avatar was removed but I had it on before the change and I still get to keep it.

This is likely the case. Cause I’ve had it for awhile so I don’t think rank has to do with it. Its cool I got to keep it. Uniqueness ftw. It doesn’t go away even if I change avatars then decide to change back.

Yeah, same thing for me. The only way you can tell is if you go onto your profile and look at the icon, if it’s kinda small (doesn’t fit the whole frame) you know it’s a pre-update avatar. That how I noticed yours, I have the same thing on mine. Uniqueness ftw!!

Found my old one. But I hope After Halo 5 the first couple of ranks get some more pictures to trow a little randomness over the place
