I noticed there are certain gear unlocks with the purchase of halo merchandise. I was wondering if the only way to unlock these particular loot is with the purchase of those halo figurines or are they also unlockable through the normal req packs as well.
Actually, the req pack that you get with each figure is below a bronze pack and completely random loot. Not a whole lot of value.
I haven’t seen any purchase exclusive that are not available in the req system
Wow so those req packs are available in the game without purchasing any of the figures. Does this include the Todd macfarlane figures too?
all content in packs are available in game, the only ones that one cannot get are the promotional packs (the 343 skins, the halo champ ones etc.) the packs that are on food and toys do not hold any exclusive content.

I got a req pack from a Mega Bloks kit and it unlocked a couple of Mega Bloks emblems. I also have one from Jinx that I haven’t opened. Maybe it unloks that Jinx emblem?

Probably so, but Jinx is in the regular req pool, so someone can get it that way as well.
It wasn’t a BAD deal when the game launched if you already purchase hot pockets, etc. and got a req pack to go with it. But I wouldn’t break my neck looking for one.
