I suspect I did not spell his name correctly, but I think it’s close enough to tell who I’m talking about. I know he made an appearance in Halo Glasslands, and is now a major role in the Spartan Ops storyline. I am in the process of reading Halo Thursday War, which according to my friends explains how he goes from point A to B. I don’t get as much time to read through books as I used to though, so its taking me a while to get through it. Basically getting to read 10 to 20 pages once every few days, instead of a few chapters every day.
So any way, with as few major spoilers as possible(I realize that is kind of a redundant request with this question), how does Jul Mdama get to where he is in Halo 4?
It would require one or two spoilers to give you the full picture but ill say this…you know Jul was taken to the shield world Trevelyan (onyx)…while he is away from home, something bad happens that he blames humanity for.
Too spoilery to risk it, a really great character arc though!
You are better off not spoiling it for yourself. Just read it when you can. You’ll be glad you didn’t spoil it for yourself.
To explain it with as little spoilers as possible, basically Jul escapes captivity with some help and ends up in a position of power. He is angry with the UNSC for a number of reasons, which you’ll find out in time, so he’s basically using the Covenant’s beliefs to drive his own personal crusade.
