Is it possible to unlock it if you’re using cheat skulls in Halo: MCC’s campaigns? Like Bandana, and Scarab? It would save me a lot of trouble if it counted when using those skulls in Halo: CE and Halo 2. I haven’t been able to find an answer to this question anywhere else, so… someone help me out here? Has anyone tried it?
No, you have to beat legendary with out cheating from the first mission to the last.
You can unlock this through the req system as well.

I’ve used the scarab gun in halo 2 and unlocked the beat halo 2 on legendary achiviement, should be working
Yeah, you can use any skulls at all.
It will probably be easier to unlock it through gold packs, there’s 3 variants now so it shouldn’t take to long.
You no longer have to beat all the campaigns on legendary to get the armor. Apparently it was just a timed exclusive thing and now you are able to get it through req packs. I unlocked it Saturday and I have yet to beat Halo 1 or 2 on legendary.
There’s no point anymore, you can pack the original set.

It’s a Mythic REQ. The odds of me getting it through a Gold Pack are extremely slim.

I did it with bandana and scarab so im not sure what these other people are talking about when they say you cant use them.
I used Bandanna, and I guess others used the Scarab skull so it seems you can use any skulls you want

I tried using both, and it is letting me earn Legendary-specific achievements while I have both Scarab and Bandana on, so I think I should be able to Helioskrill this way. Thanks.
You can earn it regardless of skulls used.
