So… This must sound like a stupid question, but I had one of my best games just now and decided to look back on it (as you do) - only to find that in theater mode my character was… nonexistent? I didn’t join from the start but I came in at around the 3-4 minute mark - but even after 15 minutes my player was not on the list and after flicking through everyone I still couldn’t find myself. Very frustrating! Is there a simple fix to this and am I just oblivious to it? Please let me know!
Very valid question, and unfortunately I do not know the answer, but I can relate to you with a similar experience I’ve had in the past. Back when the Warzone: Firefight beta was live I had a cool game, but I had joined that game when it was already in progress. I played the whole clip, scrolled through the players for the entire duration, and never found myself. Needless to say, it’s definitely a weird issue linked to joined-in-progress games.

I’m really not a great player so this game was really impressive for me, I got to level 9 REQs amazingly fast and got an overkill etc.
I was hoping to show my brother too. I hope it gets fixed in the future.
It is a very weird glitch. I have been looking at one of my games in theater mode and I have had it happen 2 - 3 times. But I found myself in the game, but “my player” did not have the same gamertag or armor on as I have had, but was doing exactly as I did in the game with same weapon skins, weapons, and assassination. I would suggest re-loading the video and letting it play in normal speed but watch the score board until it shows you joined the game and then find your player.
Theatre and JIP do not mix. One of two things happens.
- You assume the identity of the quitter, their armor and GT until you respawn, or - You become completely invisible, I jip’d into a game and the only way I could find myself was because I fired two rockets at a phaeton, was not listed in the roster, and no ID was associated with it in game.
Glitch.
