i pre-ordered the Halo 4 Xbox 360 Slim bundle from amazon yesterday. I had originally pre-ordered the Halo 4 Limited Edition, but i need a new xbox anyways, so i just changed my pre-order to the Xbox bundle.
But now my question. On the 343i community forums, i saw a post where someone said that the Halo 4 Xbox bundle was only coming with the standard edition of the game.
Is this true? Will i not get all the Limited Edition bonuses with the Halo 4 Xbox bundle?
Because if so, i am going to change my order once more. I don’t want to miss the Limited Edition features.
Yes, you get the Standard edition game, but you also get the FOTUS armor, Light Rifle skin, and a couple other goodies that are exclusive to the Console.
So, instead of the LE exclusive skin, you get the Console exclusive skin, and instead of the AR skin, you get the LR skin. That’s the main difference.
One thing they haven’t touched on is if the Console will give you immediate Specialization unlocks or not. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t. Also, they have not stated that the Console comes with the 3 post-launch map packs, which is kind of a drag, but oh well.
Be like me: get the console AND the LE game, and sell the Standard edition game to a buddy for $50, and one of the controllers online for $50, essentially making up the difference for the LE game.
Meh, the only buddy i know that’d buy the standard edition from me is pre-ordering the LE himself. But maybe i could sell both online then. I’ll have to think about that. I never sold something online before~
I think I remember 343i saying that later in the year that if you have already preordered the halo 4 console that for an extra $40 you will get the limited edition of halo 4 along with the console.

That sounds good to me. Do you have any links to official posts where they said this?
