Why in one version of the trailer does Chief reload his gun, and in another version just toss it to the side? Sorry, I know this is old, but I was wondering what the origin of this was.
I believe that the version where he throws the gun away is a directors cut or directors edition.

He does. The “attachment” you are referring to is the ammunition. There was one on the gun when he picked it up, but he shot it off to blow a hole in the wall.
