Question about Halo 3's main menu music.

I figured the main menu is more of a medley, with a mix of “Never Forget”, “Movement”, “Unforgotten”, and “Opening Suite”, but why didn’t the OST for Halo 3 actually include the actual main menu song?

I thought the main menu song sounded different! I always thought it was never forget but when I hear it, it sounds a little different. Not sure why it didn’t include it on the soundtrack.

Especially since I personally enjoyed listening to it, but I have no way to other than YouTube or starting up Halo 3.
