Yes. I noticed that any spot/part (such as weapons) from the enemy can give damage.
So having less bulky armor is better. Hmmm interesting…

Yeah it’s probably not a good idea to have 2ft horn sticking out of your domepiece
On Reach the hit boxes never changed when you wore bulkier armor. Except for when you choose to be female the hitboxes are slightly smaller then when you choose to be male.
