Question about changing accounts...

So my Xbox gold membership is set to expire in a month and I am thinking about letting it run out and buying a new account instead. This will reset my Halo 4 rank (which I am totally OK with). But here is my question…

  • I will keep the same xbox
    I bought the early edition of H4 and got the map packs from there
    I bought the latest map pack with my own dollars

With all of that said, if I get a new Xbox gold account and keep the same xbox will I be able to use all of the map packs on the new account? Or do they disappear forever?

yes, you’ll keep all of it as long as you keep your old XBL account on there. I HAD to switch accounts and kept my Xbox and I still have my maps that I paid for on the other account
