Question about campaign

I have been avoiding info on the Halo game for the past while so that I would be blown away. Then I am told by a friend that they are putting freaking armor abilities in this game???

I thought this Was Halo: CE Anniversary not Halo: CE Reach Edition

Can somebody tell me truthfully that there will be original multiplayer game modes? No fracking AA’s, an actually good game.

And I’m hoping they haven’t decided to absolutely ruin the campaign by including AA’s.

I just watched the behind the scenes Halo: Anniversary Multiplayer video and they talk about, “thinking about the existing Reach player base…” What about the Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 people that loved the franchise before Bungie decided to ram AA’s down our throats???

I honestly thought this was going to be a sort of, “testing the waters” game where they would see if more people played this game than Reach, and decide if Halo 4 would have AA’s.

Oh well, at least I can hope that Halo 4 finally gets rid of them…

AA’s are not in CEA. it would defeat the entire purpose: to remake the game exactly like the original. Your “friend” is an idiot.

There is no CEA multiplayer, the ‘multiplayer’ is just a new map pack for Reach, and a playlist where settings are altered slightly to try to make it more like CE.

And here I was finally thinking I would get to play CE online multiplayer not on Xbox connect.

So is that one game mode pretty much never going to be voted for / will only be unranked?

It just seems like 343 is wasting a slam dunk opportunity here.

Well at least campaign won’t be tainted. Thank you for alleviating one of my fears.

I’m crushed that it’s Reach multiplayer though.

1: Didn’t want to split the Reach population
2: it’s incompatible with the way XBL works.
