I’m sure this has been answered before, but I could not really find anything by searching for it. If you play the campaign with an inactive guest to get an achievement is it possible to be banned while connected to live?
I played with my nephew logged in a guest player on campaing and spartan ops. and have several times played in multiplayer with a guest who didn’t have their own xbox let alone gamertag. I benefited in no way from this at all. I wasn’t banned. I think if anything they should thank you for having a guest play because that sold another copy of the game by him getting to demo on mine once he got a system and gt and game of his own.
just set you network to your xbox only and you should be able to play while still connected with no worries if you don’t trust it.
I doubt that they would ban you for CAMPAIGN.
Only Multiplayer should be your concern.
Not at all. That’s how I got all of the Campaign co-op achievements.
“Boosting” is entering a public matchmaking lobby with the intent to get achievements, commendations, or etc. instead of playing according to the rules and spirit of the game. Doing the same in a local or private session does not count as boosting and won’t get you banned.
Thanks for the replies everyone.
