Question about bans

Back in November I was banned for betraying my allies. It wasn’t on purpose, I was just being a little to reckless with my pulse grenades and unfortunately I betrayed two friends in the same match, which got me kicked out and banned for 30 minutes. I have been more careful ever since, but yesterday I got myself kicked from a match again. It was a Warzone match and once more I’ve been a bit too reckless – this time with a Ghost. I’ve ran over a couple comrades and I was booted. I was expecting to get banned for a while once again, but surprisingly I didn’t. I’ve played several more games yesterday, both in Warzone and Arena and I didn’t receive a single alert.

Why is that? Can’t we get banned for misbehaving in Warzone and other social playlists? Not that I’m not happy for not getting banned, but it could encourage trolls to ruin matches for their teammates.

It is a balancing match if you were reckless and did a bunch of damage to your teammates but never killed them the game logs it, and once you do finally kill someone and get booted it looks at the data and places a ban. When it is harder to tell in the case of the ghost.

OR I am completely full of it and 343i has already noticed the mistake and has adjusted accordingly so that you have to get booted more often then just once to get banned.

Hello I have been banned twice now for idling and I am not I have been doing all the esencials running, shooting, killing, dieing ect. Yet somehow I was banned again its only for short times 15min 5 min but its still not fair and annoying, and I’m afraid the ban is going to get bigger if you have any information about why this might be happening please help.

Oh they will definitely get bigger.

Without knowing your play style it is hard to say but I’m guess if you are campy style player it would probably register as idling.
