Question about Armor skins

I’m sorry if this has already been asked, but I just need to know.

Do the armor skins work for all/any or the armor pieces/combinations? Cause based off footage I’ve seen only certain armors/helmets can incorporate specific skins.

For example, I haven’t seen a menu to select armor/weapon skins- each weapon is restricted to specific skins and it appears the armors work very much in the same fashion.

I just want to know because if I’m going to go buy my game at a specific store for a
specific skin that I can’t even use on my armor of choice than what’s the point of it?

I understand thhat MAYBE certain skins may be designed o follow the contours of certain armors and the same goes for the guns- but I don’t see that as an acceptable excuse fro the armors.

Why give us a new set of options if it has there weird limitations to them?

We’re not sure about pre-order armor. But it seems that certain skins are tied to certain armor. I really hope this isn’t what the pre-order armor is like. I like Forest skin, but Hazop is as ugly as sin. Pre-order armor needs to be available for all armor types.

OMG That’s exactly how I feel I want forest camo but I hate Hazop- it was better in Reach and even then I hated Hazop.

I wanna wear my EVA w/ forest camo -Yoink!-…
