Im just wondering if anyone knows if i play arena and finish a season and don’t play another if whatever my last season ranking was would stay on this site? Or would it just disappear?
Um… The data is stored on the waypoint servers but the page isn’t designed to show every bit of data collected.
So yes it’s on the servers but you won’t find it after a few seasons.
If you go to HaloTracker.com you will find it easily. (Because HaloTracker looks at the severs for what is available and tries to fill in the needs waypoint seems to forgot about) hope that helps.

So it basically will show it for a few seasons and then it won’t anymore, correct?
The only time I got ranked in Arena was season 12. Its not on my stats anymore.

Indeed. It will show only recent seasons. However the data is still stored somewhere… Just not anywhere you can see.
I’m nothing special myself. The best I got was 50% gold… Then I got tired of my rank resetting.
