I’m just curious if anyone has run into the same issue; I’ve called XBL support, asked my friends, and no one has any clue how to solve this problem.
The problem is: my housemates and I have two Xboxes, on two separate XBL accounts, and matchmaking works fine when we’re each searching alone. But when these two XBL accounts are in a party together, matchmaking is insanely slow; almost none of the playlists load. The only one that we can get consistently is Double Team, after waiting 30-60 seconds. Campaign/firefight matchmaking work fine; and of course we can play on system link if we’re just playing each other. But we really wanted to play on XBL together, so it’s very annoying. Does anyone know if this might have something to do with the router? We’re both plugged into the same router, but we have different IP addresses, so it shouldn’t matter. And again, matchmaking works fine when we search alone; we can both play at the same time as long as we’re not in the same party. Any advice would be great appreciated.
