Quality > Quantity or vise versa, which do you pref

With the new updates to come , do you prefer;
______________________________________________________________________________________________________

  • *Quality of items to be released but less items in the updates.*Or

  • To have more Quantity of items released but same quality with a few exceptions.______________________________________________________________________________________________________
I personally would rather less content, but higher quality content. For example, I wouldn’t mind if they only released one or two skins for weapons, but these skins were very well designed and have a appealing color pattern. Or armors that actually make your spartan stand out and look asetic rather then just more of the same armor’s with different names. Even with emblems, instead of releasing 8 - 12 emblems at a time, what about four really nice looking emblems that people actually take notice of. Same with game modes and maps.

I personally would rather a very well designed Map that everyone enjoys, rather then remixes of maps we already have, just with a different background. Even if this was released every 2 months rather then 1. Id rather be excited to play on a good designed map rather then sigh to play a remixed map.

What would you guys rather?

Quality > Quantity all day every day

Quality please.
ALSO…its hard enough to unlock everything as it is…def don’t want quantity making it even more difficult xD

Can’t it be both?

I mean quality is great, but if all we got was 1 new armor set, it wouldn’t stand out, because everyone would wear it.

Quality over quantity.

There are so many games in the past that had a small amount of content, but was extremely addictive because it was a quality game. And yet people forget that when it comes to AAA games. Because APPARENTLY AAA just magically means quantity.

Halo 3: Few Items, All Quality

Halo Reach: Many Items, Mostly Quality

Halo 4: Many Items, Some Quality

Halo 5: Many Items, Little Quality.

Yes, the caps were necessary.

Quality> Quantity

Quality over quantity. The more useless junk they add the more refuse I must wade through to receive anything decent.

As long as that quantity part does not include more DMR variations that are already hard to get, I’m fine with it…lol

Well, it kinda is Atm, we do get some nice items but with some junk in between, Im just asking would you prefer less of the contents delivered but if they were delivered in higher quality

Agreed. Still believe Halo Reach Customization > All Halo’s tbh.

No game will beat Reach for customization imo. It had plenty of customization and 90% of the armor was awesome. The vehicles and Forge were all amazing, too. I can’t count how many hours, days, maybe even weeks I spent playing “Get out of my House” with friends. Having a full party for Halo 5 when they release infection will make that so very fun. But I ramble on, just awhile longer until sweet infection is released.

The question posed is pointless seeing as we received neither quality nor quantity with H5, unless of course you count req’s in which case they gave us a metric shittonne of useless nonsense to dress up our Spartans while neglecting key functions and features of the game, like chat in pre-game lobbies for instance

Halo 4’s was pretty good. It was exactly like Reach but with a larger focus on visors.

Quality

Yes, what about chat in pre-game lobbies?
And they do give us a balance of quality and quantity, given yes, recent updates not so much, but this future update does have some hope for it. Quality of content is based on opinion though, some people think Quantity is represented by maps, game modes etc, others believe it’s cosmetics and consumables.

Yes, what about pre game lobby chat?

The fact that there isn’t any for starters, when you’re in a party with other people (not party chat but a game party) the chat audio cuts out in the pre-game lobby
When it doesn’t do that you have and are given no indication on who is talking or which team they may be on
Here is a list of things that four months into its life span H5 is still missing

a working file share
non forge btb maps
oddball
assault
one ball
ViP
Juggernaut
one flag
3 plot
territories
infection
gravity hammer <–I mean really?
a semi-coherent and functioning UI

anyone else please feel free to add to this list because I know I’ve forgotten many things

and as far as “quality” goes, lets delve into H5

Shortest campaign of all halos (after we were told it was the longest by the way)
worst story of any halos
lazy forge maps for btb and only 4…FOUR of them at that
lazy remix maps to further bloat their map totals (yes I am aware that the new map is a non remix but should we really be praising them for this?)
4 warzone maps
4 warzone assault maps

There is neither quality, nor quantity here

again, unless we are talking about reqs in which case, sure they’ve given us 4 different paint schemes on the same pieces of armour and eight different shades of green for visor colours and what?..12 different stances that no one else can even see anyway so why bother having them?

The entire thing is lazy and not well thought out, the UI honestly feels like it was just thrown together last minute and they said “that will have to be good enough”

They focused way, waaaaaaaay too much time into their microtransactions in an attempt to bloat their profits

Definitely quality over quantity. Way too many emblems to be honest, and way too many variations of the same armour. I highly doubt we need another Jumpmaster skin for example. Plus the UI for customizing armour/ helmets/ or even the weapons for Warzone is horrible messy.

Too be fair, half of the game modes you mentioned weren’t in Halo: Reach, or Halo 4. Seemingly, they were dead and removed past Halo 3.
And the UI is fine. And I feel like I don’t need a fileshare now. It’s easy enough to follow someone then download the map.

And the campaign was okay. It didn’t feel any shorter than any of the other games. Besides, the environments were fan-freaking-tastic.

Does anyone remember TMCC?

I don’t know I’d rather have high quality for sure but it’s also nice to see that it looks like they are still supporting it.

I remember it started working for me in January, and it was easily the best Halo experience I’ve had once it started working.
