So I just thought i would share an experience I had last night.
Got on to play some new snipes, not bad by the way. Played a couple dubs games, dominate as usual although there was some wonky matchmaking starting games uneven but was able to recover.
Then I decide to play a CTF game. Puts me in a game on Solace where the other team is up 4-0 with 5 minutes left and they have our 5th flag at their base dorking around with it. I spawn and see another unfortunate JIP soul spawn right next to me and then I see his body crumble as he immediately quits(smart cookie). I say F it, I’m going to try to snag a couple kills. Get into a 2 on 1 battle in a hallway with two of them and I kill one and back down to recharge shields. I see the flag guy hopping around their base and sense his teammates elsewhere on the map so I man cannon it over and start shooting flag carrier and hiding behind a box like a -Yoink!-(heh heh) is boltshot and blasts me from a noticeable long range and I’m a corpse.
Dumbledorf flag carrier then scores the last flag. Great fun that was and beautiful implementation of JIP.
How about all that increased communication Frankie promised in his post new years bulletin? I would love to hear 343 just once address this horrible JIP ‘feature’. I’ll bet a bucket of crickets that that’s all we hear…Crickets.
