I dont know if this is the right forum but I just finished my swat qualifiers, the last two being ruined by massive issues with the servers and players on my team leaving. I got ranked into Gold 4, which I am very displeased about. Is there a max rank you can rank into? Like is the best thing you can qualify for Diamond 1? Because if there isnt a cap and I genuinely got ranked into Gold 4, Im just quitting for the season, because that ruins it for me.
You get a low rank in swat so your going to stop playing the game? Why not try to get better yes you may have been cheated out of a better rank by quitting teammates but don’t just give up if your more skilled than gold tear than you should be in platinum in no time.
The max rank you can qualify in is onyx.
I would not company your pre season rank with your current rank as the system has been altered… I ranked onyx in preseason and am now in gold. You should find it more fun pushing up the ranks.
I do however share your frustration about people dropping out of games. I have also experienced some extremely laggy games which are unplayable.
No offence, but your K/D isn’t very high and Gold 4 seems about right. For the January Season or Pre-Season. Slightly negative for both seasons?
I got busted from Platinum 6 down to Silver 5 thanks to crappy team mates and losing 7 out of the 10 qualifying games. Despite a positive K/D.
I’m back up to Gold 6, and I’m hoping to go through Platinum into Diamond. I’m not a very good player (1.05 K/D last season). 1.3 for this season so far. I’m probably about where I deserve at the moment.

Yeah I have consistency issues because -Yoink- like this keeps happening, so I dont play for days at a time, so I never really keep my skills up. Either way, i lost several games for no good reason and thats enough to anger me.

I ruined my promo’s on purpose so I could stomp all the noobs in bronze. XD
I just ranked platinum 2 in FFA. Preseason I ranked the same. Only won 2 out of 10 games however I placed in the top 3 in games 75% of the time and had A LOT of assists in all the games. (One game I had 15 I think).
the arena system seems to be working fine. People also have to consider that the ranking system places you not only based on your W/L record, but also your K/D/A and the caliber of players you are playing against. I will test this theory over the holiday weekend once all the noobs get the game for x-mas.
I should also note my K/D was 0.9

Its just frustrating, many of my games people didnt even leave, they just afk and give kills to the enemy team. Its annoying to wanna keep playing if its always an uphill battle.

This is why I want to get to Diamond. I hope that it match making will be better that it is at Platinum and below with all of the unranked players.

I was placed Platinum 1 and now I am Champion. Keep playing.
