Not sure if this has been discussed before and I tried looking things up about it to no avail.
They appear above the mountains behind the forerunner structure and then disapear as if they are made of smoke.
Has anyone else seen them? They look like the quad wings from previous halo games.

Quadwing GHOSTS.
Just a way to show that they’re there without making a ton of actual models.
In the mission Shutdown they do it with Liches too. A big stream of Liches are sort of ghostly fading in and out in the distance across the map.
