I have seen a huge amount of raging about there being no visible TS ranking. You know I played Halo 3 and Reach, and the only reason I believe Halo 3 is better is the fact that matching was better. Not because there was some number besides your name. In all shooters Halo,Gears,COD, ext. Sure rank can show how good a person is, but what rank does for me is say hey I have played alot as well as I have unlocked certain things. Now if you really want to see how good a player is you must look at their K/D ratio and win/loss ratio. This has been a very good way for me in Reach to say hey this guy/girl is pretty good/bad. Now the exception to that are the playlists the people play in. For example, a person could have a very high K/D in BTB while in MLG or any really competitive playlist it would be lower and take that into consideration. I hope that in H4 that each playlist will have its own personal K/D ratio and win/loss, and then have an overall K/D ratio and win/loss ratio for all playlists. My main point is that it doesn’t matter if there are visible TS ranks in Halo 4, but what will lable you as a good player is how you play in game. They have made up their minds in what they are going to do as far as the ranking system is concerned, so I would suggest that everyone chill out and play the game before making such strong convictions.
P.S. QQ Quit Crying over nothing have control over.
People just want something to complain about. If 343i announced no more mongoose, every body would have been raging saying that taking it out takes away the skill of the game or some crap like that. Oh well, I’ll be having fun on Tuesday.
Though this has since been locked I wanted to still pop in and say that people love Halo, that is no secret. People love it for different reasons, and no one person is right or wrong for whatever it is they love about Halo!
