Hey guys, i am a new player and just wanted to know where i can look for future events or announcements for example Double Exp event.
Is it just possible to check the forums here or do you have any tips for me?

Hello, welcome to Halo 5! To answer your question regarding double XP events, they haven’t done one in a while. Last Summer they ran it for a while with every playlist being double XP. Usually there will be an announcement ahead of time in the Community Updates they send out, so keep an eye out for those. Or some people do make forum posts as a reminder when they do the double XP events. Hope this helps, take care!

Any playlists with a gold star give you boosted xp. I don’t think it’s double, but it is definitely more than normal. I think the current one is castle wars

its not double, but it gives you a little more xp than usual.

the last double xp event was last summer (2017) every weekend
The last 2 double XP events were the Halo 2 BR Slayer and Halo 3 throwback playlists during the Halo World Championship this past spring. I would keep an eye on the forums and especially the weekly community updates for any double xp, playlist updates, etc. that will be happening. Those come out (almost) every Thursday night and give plenty of info.
I just hope it returns since grinding to 152 is tiresome.

Only at 149, i know the feeling. Just waiting until you get to 150 and 151, you start calling 148’s young ins because of the grind lol

Too true, it’s a running joke where my friends keep leveling up, telling me because it takes me forever to rank up…I hope MCC gets fixed by the time I get to 152.

you are only about 40% of the way there, so i am sure the fix will be about by then. I’m guessing we will hear plenty about that at E3 next month

Sure, just a matter of finding days where I feel like putting up with the grind. Don’t think mcc will get the fix soon since the beta stuff doesn’t sound ready plus have to switch games often since totally burnt with H5 since the game frustrates me often. Just wish we had regular exp events so I can move on from H5 plus I suspect H6 news at E3.
