PvE Warzone would bring my friends back to Halo.

Halo 5 is a great game. I love it, but I’m the only one of my friends playing it. Many of these friends of mine are not like me and the rest of us. I can enjoy PvP all day every day, but many friends of mine just aren’t into that. They only like PvE and the occasional BTB match.

I told them about Warzone, but after playing it a lot myself, I predict that they would just get slaughtered by other players, since WZ is more like 90% PvP and 10% PvE anyways. I have no ammunition to get my friends into this. Most of them just play Zombies in BO3 or Destiny still. These are the same friends I played Firefight and Spartan Ops with back in the day as well as countless hours of Destiny.

How hard would it be to make a PvE WZ? It can use the REQ system too and give more players a reason to buy REQ packs, which means more money for 343i. I’m sure 343i has the tools on hand to easily implement this. Everyone wins.

How would PVE warzone work? 12 people versus AI? It would quickly get boring. The amount of enemies you’d have to engage would be STAGGERING to be a challenge for 12 Spartans at once.

You don’t have to play it if you think it would be boring, many people think PvP is boring too, but what you just said actually sounds kind of fun in a survival sense. I had more of a 4vE in mind protecting a base while wave after wave of increasingly difficult AI attack you. Either way, the big maps exist as well as AI spawn placements in 343i’s “special WZ Forge” in their studio. Sky’s the limit for all the many possible PvE modes that 343i can conjure up.
