PV vs. Camo

How does a player using active camo appear to one using promethean vision?

(I hope they dont appear at all)

Anyone got exp on this?

Thanks.

I believe they won’t appear at all if they are invisible when using Camo.

I hope they do (or at least a faded version of the spartan) as it needs a counter and after all if a heat vision thingy can’t pick up someone well then its no use

Anyone played at E3 or other expos tried this?

I assumed that PV was meant to counter AC. I just assumed you could see everyone. 343i only ever talked about hologram as a counter to PV. Hologram shows up as a normal player.

I heard that they still appear but it’s just a red outline instead of their entire body.

No idea if this is true or not though.

I hope it is the case. It should be how it functions. AC shouldn’t be impervious to any and all AAs.

What if stealth mod + camo?

I don’t know about the current build, but with the E3 build, I sorta remember someone from 343i mentioning that is does have an effect on PV. Maybe that was the outline of the person that someone previously mentioned.

I hope active camo does conuter pv, pv still looks op to me and ill prob use it but i like active camo more plus pv does need a counter besides hologram alot of ppl dont use hologram ever i never use it i hve a little bit but i would rather have jet pack, camo or thruster pack instead over regen, pv, auto sentry. I pray camo wins against pv. I’m a stealth ninja with sprint and camo
