So if decided not to play halo unless certain things change or are added. Take it as constructive feedback if you will.
First of all the gameplay and weapons are good, I do think weapons like the ravenger, plasma pistol could be looked at. The rav feels so weak no matter how you use it and the plasma pistol seems so easy to dodge it’s just not an effective weapon to use especially as it dont stun vehicles. The other weapons are good.
The BP, iv finished it. While I think the current exp earning is great I’d personally like the Exp boosts removed from the BP for more amor, shaders, coatings etc. For example we are missing some key reach armor pieces in the reach BP and it’s kinda annoying.
Customisation, coatings and the mark V and mark VII should all be on the one core. Having the event stuff on a separate one is fine but separate these two is just limiting and not enjoyable. It limits what you can do and what you see which is a real shame and should be changed.
The store. Far too expensive, either every bundle should be 200credits or we need ways to earn credits. I get the games FTP and you need some income but most of your playerbase cant afford stupid high prices for a piece of armour. I personally have no issue supporting you and buying things but not at these prices. I can easily spend £50+ on your game but it will not be on 3bundles, if you want more people to spend money reduce the cost. If every bundle was 200 credits for example I would of brought them all compared to currently buying 0.
Forced crossplay and cheaters, crossplay should always be optional and I hope you are aware of cheaters, that’s all I’m saying on the matter and I hope its addressed.
Desync, latency etc. Is a very common issue, even having 25ms to a server I can get alot of my shots not counting, I can even go in theater and check and I see the bullets hit but 0 damage. This is all weapons and common in every game mode and can honestly be a buzz kill if your shots arent registering. I personally think this is a crossplay issue more than servers but I’m not a mega mind on the matter.
BTB isnt working, BOO! Favourite game mode to chill on and it dont work, cant even do my weeklies because of it.
Weekly unlockables. I love ways to unlock stuff but why is it the same emblem for each part when you could just let it be a bundle weekly… I get you’re trying to spread it out but it’s not appealing me to aim towards it. Having credit rewards would be a great addition to this section and I’d honestly like 1 free challenge swap every week alongside a new weekly. It’s often there will be a game mode people want to avoid at all costs or a very difficult challenge for a casual player or maybe one is too time consuming for someone. One free challenge swap would reduce this, alot of my challenges are BTB focused, it’s not working atm and I cant afford to use all my challenge swaps as theres no way to obtain them, I’d rather just not bother trying to get an emblem.
All in all good game but until BTB is fixed, desync and cheater looked into and a change to the store is made. I’m not sure theres alot holding me to the game atm and crossplay should be optional like all other games out there.
