i love this game, but i feel like there aren’t enough 4v4 maps. I don’t get why they didn’t put the forge maps in there when they are on the disc. Come on 343 fix this!
I’m pretty sure Relay is a remake of Halo 2’s Foundation.
Just saying…
- because the forge maps in reach weren’t received well
- because the on disc forge maps are garbage
343 said they didn’t want to put the forge maps in matchmaking yet, probably see some in the coming weeks.
Just chillax and be patient. DLC will be available next month and i’m pretty sure we’ll get another Forge contest or some forge maps integrated into mm in the following weeks.

its going to take longer then a few weeks to get good forge maps suitable for halo 4.
the forgers are playing MP more then forging at the moment to learn the game, the lack of precision controls and dynamic lighting are making it a real pain to build maps and they’re still learning the scale and map design concepts that work because the designs and concepts from reach don’t carry over.
you’re going to have to give it a month or 2.

Not a remake, but it seems to be inspired by it.
I just noticed there were forged maps on the disc. I think they should put them into matchmaking now, we need more of a variety of maps. The maps are starting to get real repetitive.
The 3 forge maps that were on the disc also each have a variant pre built to showcase what can be done on that map with forge. I personally agree that these 3 maps should be added to match making.
That being said some very well done forge maps have already started to trickle out and we will see some forge maps in match making down the road. The forge maps created in halo 4 will all surpass anything that can be forged from reach. The do not all look the same and are not full of grey walls.
