I live in australia, so every single game i play has way too much lag. People keep complaining about having it on, but with it off, the game is unplayable! with it on, It may take a minute or two to find a match, but at least i can actually play it!

I was able to find matches in halo and i live in australia, so for me its
> Halo with unplayable lag
> Halo with a slight lag
The only game i wasn’t able to find is warzone assault and that’s a terrible gamemode anyway

OP gets it. Will not be long before whole of AUS is raging like we are in EU. 343i does not get it, would like to show them a map of the world outside US.

When region lock was on I had a lot of lag problems. I had to stop playing until it was removed cause it was unplayable. 343 will have to do something else. Hopefully there will be no servers in halo 6 and they go back to basics.
I was playing a game of warzone today it would not stop lagging. So I agree that they should turn it back on.
This community can’t make up its damn mind.

Bravo included a line in last week’s update about matchmaking preferences being included in this month’s update, so it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that this happens.

As a american player i had no lag problems when region lock was on now its at a level of unplayability

I believe they should have added the server selection instead of region lock in the first place.
Either way, they shouldn’t add region lock again. They should let people choose. Lets hope it gets added this update.

Already have. Sadly no Halo. I have not tried since early in April, the games I played were terrible. I’ll try again after the next update, if there’s no improvement I’m done until it’s sorted. Doom will be out in about 10 days anyway.
Are you a real Australian or American trying to trick 343 into thinking Australians hate region lock. I remember the forums being full of people from Europe and Australia complaining about not finding games.

- Preferences was promised after beta
- Those wanting it off in no way even close matches the number of gamers wanting it on
- Yes it’s gamebreaking lag
- On until theres is a preference solution ready is the way to go.
